Individual Nutrition
Counseling Sessions
We offer individualized nutrition counseling for adults, young adults, and adolescents seeking support with health and clinical nutrition needs.
Your first appointment is a 60-minute comprehensive nutrition assessment with a registered dietitian, during which we review your medical history, eating patterns, behavioral concerns, labs (as relevant), and treatment goals.
Follow-up appointments (30–60 minutes) are tailored to client preference and clinician recommendations. Sessions may be held in person or through virtual nutrition counseling. Dietitians provide customized meal plans, evidence-based nutrition education, behavior change support, and goal-oriented nutrition therapy. We communicate and collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, primary care clinicians, and other providers to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
Family Sessions
and Involvement
Family participation can be an essential part of successful nutrition treatment—especially for children and adolescents. Family involvement may be optional in some cases and can be based on the clients' individual preferences.
- Dietitians can provide psycho-education sessions for parents, caregivers, partners, or friends who want to better understand nutrition, eating disorder recovery, or how to support their loved one.
- Our team is trained in Family-Based Treatment (FBT) and can help families transition from higher levels of care to more independent eating, depending on age and readiness.
- For younger children, parents or caregivers are encouraged to complete an intake session and to attend ongoing sessions with their child to promote nutrition stability and goals.
Exposure and Response
Prevention Therapy (ERPT)
For clients diagnosed with eating disorders, ARFID, or OCD-related food fears, we integrate Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERPT) into nutrition sessions.
Dietitians develop structured exposure hierarchies and provide in-session and between-session support to help clients reduce avoidance, normalize eating patterns, and build long-term resilience.
Body Image Support
and Nutrition Therapy
Our dietitians are trained in body image work and provide support for individuals experiencing negative body image, body dissatisfaction, or body dysmorphic disorder. In coordination with the client’s therapist, dietitians help clients develop coping skills, challenge body image distress, and foster a more flexible, compassionate relationship with their bodies.
