Jillian MacLeod, NP
Dr. MacLeod NP, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has treated patients across a range of clinical settings, including outpatient and inpatient psychiatry, and community-based mental health and substance use programs.
She specializes in working with individuals ages 6+ navigating eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, trauma, and mood disorders. Her approach is trauma-informed, patient-centered, and grounded in a Health at Every Size (HAES) philosophy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2024.
Dr. MacLeod is passionate about helping individuals build a more supportive and sustainable relationship with food. She believes food is both nourishment and enjoyment, and offers a warm, nonjudgmental space to explore these experiences. She collaborates closely with patients and their families to create individualized, compassionate treatment plans that prioritize flexibility, curiosity, and respect for each person’s needs.
